Toni Latour
Toni Latour is a multidisciplinary artist living in Vancouver, BC. Focusing on her identity as an artist, Latour uses humour to address many of the drives, desires and anxieties involved in art production. Her work has been shown throughout Canada, in the U.S., and the UK.
Love Song for My Dog
“I wrote and performed this song called Love Song for My Dog for the exhibition No Such Animal at SAW Gallery in Ottawa in April of 2003. Dressed in handmade country and western clothing, I serenaded my Terrier, Jack, as she wandered around the gallery, weaving through the audience.” — Toni Latour.
Love Song for My Dog was also released on Artunes, a CD compilation of audio art by seven Canadian visual artists.
